2012 Planners

I have been looking for a new planner for 2012.  When it comes to planners, I am typically very picky.  For the last two years I have ended up settling on the standard At A Glance Monthly calendars for work.  This year, I need to be a little more organized, so I have been on the hunt for something a little different that is a little smaller so that I can throw it in my bag.  I have been doing some research and came across some great possibilites on La Dolce Vita and College Gloss.  Here are the planners that I am considering:

1. My At-A Glance Monthly Planner ($20) - maybe in a smaller version, but nothing beats the big spaces and professional look.

2. Laurel Denise Planner ($35) - These planners are so cute, and I loveeee the design.   It allows you to see the month, the current week, and your daily/weekly to dos all at the same time.

3. 8 Days A Week Planner ($18) - I love how colorful and fun this one is. It has columns for Sunday through Saturday, plus an additional space for Someday.

 4. Erin Condren Life Planner ($50) -  I love the tabs and all of the different sections inside, but most of all I love the customizable cover!

5. Kate Spade Desk Top Spiral Planner ($38) - Love this cute planner.  Its a September 2011-December 2012, too bad I didn't get one earlier.    

6. Lilly Pulitzer Large Agenda ($25) - This one is so cute too, and its a August 2011-December 2012, plus it includes cute little stickers.

 

7. The Container Store's Mini Three Ring Binder ($16) - I love these little binders, they are so cute.  And with the filler paper you can customize them to exactly what you need.

8. Sarah Pinto Weekly Planners ($20) - I love these preppy planners. They have great monthy and weekly pages too!

9. Filofax Apex Personal Organizer ($36) - Love these cute planners with tons of filler options. They are super durable, come in cute colors, and i love the elastic closure.

10. Moleskine 12 Month - Color A Month Planner Set - I love these cute little notebooks.  I love how you get a nice clean brand new little book for each month.

Now, it just comes down to the hardest part, making the decision...

my favorite finds from february

It's been a while since my last post, so I thought I would show off some of my favorite finds from the last few weeks.  Hope you like them as much as I do!

1. Judd Waddell Wedding Gowns

I absolutely love these gowns by Judd Waddell! I saw them on District Weddings and I fell in love.  I love the lace and the beautiful sweetheart necklines and the gorgeous details!

2. Chocolate Covered Strawberry cupcakes

I found the recipe for these on one of my new favorite blogs, My Baking Addiction and cannot wait to attempt to make these (one day). They sound delicous! Chocolate Covered Strawberries are one my ultimate favorite things. How can you resist this amazing combination!

This weekend, while dragging my boyfriend around New Jersey in search of new things to spruce up my bedroom, I found these great desk organizers at The Container Store. Being an incredibly organized person and loving when everything has it's own place in a room,

4. peach garden wedding photo shoot

I saw this romantic photo shoot on Elizabeth Anne Designs.  The colors are so beautiful and make me so hopeful that spring is around the corner.  I love the use of lanterns and the gorgeous bouquet of peonies!

5. LuLu Frost NeckLaces

I came across this gorgeous Lulu Frost necklaces on HipHipGinGin and was head over heels. 

They are absolutely stunning.

6. Kendra scott grand opening event

Camille Styles did an amazing job with this awesome event.  I love everything

about it from the super cute invitations to the vivid decor and displays.  My favorite part

are the rock candy lollipops hanging from the trees, it is such a creative idea.

7. cake batter birthday bark

I came across this recipe on Birthday Girl Blog and I cannot wait to attempt to make this for 

someone’s birthday.  This has got to be one of the best sounding and looking desserts.

8. BHLDN Lingerie

I am obsessed with this chiffon bra and knickers from BHLDN. I love how its fun with the polka dots,

yet elegant at the same time.  It is so perfectly pretty!

9. my sweet and saucy cakes

These cakes from Melody Brandon at My Sweet and Saucy Shop are incredible.  I love the incredible detail on all of her beautiful cakes.  Theses are two of my favorite.

10. owL PILLOW from 'BETTER WITh You'

“Better With You” is my new favorite show on ABC.  My sister got me hooked in the Fall and I am obsessed. I love how Casey and Mia live in a Firehouse, and I love how it’s decorated, but I am in love with the Owl Pillow on Maddie’s couch!  I want it for my apartment!
